eHELP! includes toll-free telephone, toll-free fax, Send This File, GoToMeeting and Boldcenter CRM (chat) support and is invoiced monthly, net 45 days.  The only other YARDI consultant that charges a rate as low as mine requires two hours of time purchased in advance.  You are probably familiar that your "official" support channel charges 11% more than I, but only if you purchase AN ANNUAL SUPPORT AGREEMENT and, once the included three hours are gone, PURCHASE ADDITIONAL TIME IN ADVANCE.  If you do not do so, you pay by credit card for each 222.22% of what I invoice after the fact.  (You will also note that, unless I'm on the road, I get back to you much in 5 or 10 minutes, compared to 1 or 2 days.  There are cases when I've returned from out of town and STILL RESPONDED FIRST, even though the same YARDI user left requests both on MY VOICE MAIL and with a LIVE HUMAN BEING IN CALIFORNIA within the same five minute period!)

eHELP! is offered Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to NOON, Central Time, on-site commitments permitting.  In those instances when an alternative use of time has The YARDI Guy out of telephone range, please leave your name, company name, phone number, reason for your call AND THE BEST (or worst) TIME TO RETURN YOUR CALL.  The YARDI Guy will make every effort to return your call as soon as possible and, in most cases, within the same morning or afternoon that you leave the message.

Please listen to the greeting to determine whether or not The YARDI Guy is in the office or not.  You may also check his regularly-updated schedule on Yahoo! (click on his calendar in the left border of any page).  It never fails that after a week of client visits, someone has left a Monday morning message requesting an return call as soon as possible.  Friday night at 8:30 p.m. is probably NOT what the caller had in mind.

Depending on the length and nature of his absence, messages may or may not be left on his toll-free voice mail.  If he is in mHELP! or @HELP! mode, you may try his mobile phone.  Although he will attempt to check for and respond to mobile phone voice mails, that may be impossible in @HELP! mode, as "The YARDI Guy dances with the client 'WHAT BRUNG' HIM," as that client is investing additional fees, expenses, time and effort to bring him on-site for a finite period of time.  Often, TYG leaves home or a motel before 8:00 a.m. and returns late in the evening, with little or no break all day long...and he will do the same for YOU when YOU contract him to visit YOUR office.

"The cost?" you ask.

eHELP! is billed monthly in minimum one-tenth hour, thereafter in quarter-hour increments at an hourly rate of $90, due within 45 days of the end of that month.
